Ive already seen a couple already. No one has come out and tried to tell us that it's not transphobic(that I've seen) but I have heard a lot of "it's GTA" as if that's an excuse. 

If you want people to take you seriously, maybe don’t use obviously hate loaded terms like ‘alphabet soup people’. It’s still okay to just say LGBTQ. A smart person like you ought to be able to remember 5 letters.

There’s a difference between satire and straight up bigotry. That’s why you see stuff in GTA (and Red Dead) mocking racists but not black people as a race. This stuff crossed from satire to bigotry and it’s good Rockstar realized it. I don’t expect gamers to understand that or react sanely to these changes.

If you do an equivalent amount of damage to two groups, but one of those groups is massively more vulnerable, you have done -more- harm to that group than you did the other.

It’s better than hate for sure, but I’m good literally never hearing about cis folks’ opinions on trans folks again. In nearly 32 years I’ve yet to hear a take about the trans experience from one of us that’s been even a little bit compelling.

It’s about punching down, and if there was at least one trans writer we knew of in the team to make sure that any jokes or criticism of anything trans has at least some representation and lived experience behind it, it’d be a very different story. Just because it’s an office building doesn’t mean it has to be non-descript. There are many design innovations that do things like encourage people to take the stairs instead of the elevator, or increase the amount of natural light.
