When I heard Michael McKean's character reference him in Best in Show, I felt like a genius for knowing who he was. Until I realized I still only really knew him as a Simpsons reference.

The way this scene uses Bart, Milhouse, Nelson, and Martin so perfectly always makes me wonder what a series aimed at a younger audience but centred around those four would be like. It was always fun the handful of times the show kind of became that, particularly with Lemon of Troy and Bart on the Road.

Slideshow, she's in it!

Agreed. Even though we just had an episode where Homer Goes to Space, this feels like the craziest and loosest episode of the series yet. I'd be annoyed if it wasn't surrounded by episodes that are better plotted/more grounded or if the jokes weren't of such a high calibre, but as is always the case with classic

That episode is a goddamn masterpiece.

@Patrick_Batman:disqus, I like Tim Burton's Batman films fine, although I would be interested to read said article. I've weighed my options, and I genuinely think that would be the best way to procrastinate today.

Speaking of songs from musical episodes that have been forever burned into our brains, I'm pretty sure I could sing the whole Space Ghost Coast to Coast musical episode from top to bottom.

Yes. Will Arnett was the guest, promoting Arrested Development. A clip of the series prominently featuring Rob Corddry as Frank Wrench was humorously used. Steve Carell and also possibly Vance Degeneres have hosted as well.

I always felt like this episode was a bit of an anomaly in the season (although not in a bad way by any means) in the sense that its jokes and storylines are fairly grounded in a season 3 sort of way as opposed to the go-for-broke craziness that characterizes a lot of season 5. Given how Oakley and Weinstein (who

I've seen this episode so many times that I can watch it (and love it) without batting an eye, but really, how strange is it that an entire B-plot is given over to a celebrity playing himself who's never been on the show before or since? James Woods' delivery is so different from anyone else's on the show — I remember

I remember when you were happy with a radish…

I think it was already "canon" that Baby, Goat, and Old Man Juarez were voices El Chupacubra does and not his actual associates, but goddammit I liked the idea that there were three weirdos who inexplicably followed a Latin-American DJ around everywhere. I kind of wish Goat had appeared in the scene as a creepy

And with that Scott Adsit knocked a line that doesn't seem all that funny on paper out of the park, one last time.

Pete's absence from the Kenneth abuse montage: A way to avoid paying Scott Adsit, or proof that Pete really is Kenneth's best friend comma bald category?

I got my Creed laugh, see you all next week!

Even if it were a Kids in the Hall sketch it would still seem incredibly weird.

There's no way I can narrow this down to my top five, so here are five that I have always loved that are also being especially loved at this moment:
