One thing that must be understood about narcissistic parents is that they frequently pit their kids against each other. The special bond between (normal, healthy) siblings is seen as a threat to the parent.

I see a remake of Thelma and Louise.

All six Friends get $20M a year alone because of syndication. She’s simply doing what most other celebrities do to stay viable in their business.

when she is dead

I read somewhere that Aniston has basically made a career being the subject of tabloid fodder. She gets paid six figures for each of those interviews, plus rolling out one or two totally forgettable rom-coms every year, plus shilling water and Aveena. She’s basically built out a career being Jennifer Aniston.

I’m gonna lay a great big greasy truth bomb on ya ...

Nah, what happened was the PR agency promoting Melbourne Fashion Week sent photos for the magazine to run alongside this feature. Either they sent the wrong photos, or they sent them a library of all the models working with the campaign and the editors picked the wrong one - it’s not quite clear.

Either way, that’s a

Yeah, somebody fucked up. Sourcing photos correctly is basic - there’s a process for this, or their should be if Who’s editors are competent. It’s not just, “Does that look right?

Dresses seem to be the only option, but I really hate wearing dresses to work in the summer. Plus, who wants to shave their legs every day when they’re in the third trimester? Blergh.

I hated shopping for maternity clothes for work so much. I hate shopping for work clothes enough already and not knowing what size I was going to be in a couple months made it that much worse. What I ended up doing was going to thrift stores and buying anything that looked promising a couple of sizes too big and

I am currently pregnant with my first (and probably only) child, and I really wish that there was more recognition of pregnant people who work. I’m starting to buy maternity clothes, and it’s so difficult to find office-appropriate pants. I can find dozens of different colors of maternity leggings, jeans, sweatpants,

I have one going off to college (he is doing National Guard) and we won’t need FAFSA (it’s a fucking scam anyway). Raising kids on a budget rubs off though! Mine are all thrifty and hate waste. I work from home too and was laid off in the fall (thanks to Trump’s trade war) but have had a great job since the beginning

My kids are teens now, too. Both will be off to college in 3 short years, in fact! It was pretty fantastic being just-poor-enough to stay at home with them, but not so poor that we had to honestly struggle. Lots of free-cleanings at the dental school, and wic checks back in the day, but it’s been a long time since

I remember our broke days very well. My kids are teens now and get nostalgic of the day trips we took to state parks and lakes for free swimming when I made them *special sandwiches* (fluffernutters....cause we were broke😂) and how much fun they had!!

*raises hand* I’m in this club. :D When the kids hit school I became a work-from-home mom writing. It has it’s ups and downs (I’m in a down phase right now and very broke) but it worked best for us.

I was a SAHM for 10 years after trying every type of work-life balance possible. I had 3 kids in 5 years and childcare costs made it a no-brainer to stay home. It was awesome! We lived within our means and I am now back to working FT and love it. There really is no magic bullet to raising kids. Just do what works best

What I see as the biggest issue with a decreasing birthrate is that there becomes an imbalance between the number of people leaving the workforce and number of people entering it. It feels especially precarious at the moment because not only are the Boomers about the create a vacuum that Millennials may not

Great article!!! I’m in the minority of most women I know as I’m a SAHM. My husband works insanely crazy hours and for me to go back to work the cost of daycare amounted to about 70% of my paycheck. Sooooooo it just made way more sense for us. It’s not always easy but we manage and live pretty comfortably.
