College coursework probably won’t be that difficult if a kid sticks to the subjects they are strong in and also takes things pass/fail instead of graded. There’s also a lot of grade inflation going on these days, so while bribing is less of a thing once they are in college, badgering certainly remains strong.

I agree with your TL;DR point, but think you are being WAY TOO HARD on yourself and your school for the rest of it.

Learning difficult subjects is . . . difficult. Taking that on that challenge on top of not living with your parents/relatives/guardians for the first time in your life and dealing with being an 18/19…

Grad School at an Ivy. Had to TA undergrads. Sucks that you got clobbered early on, but sounds like you earned the hell out of the Magna Cum Laude if your grades were that much improved over your cohort that had better college prep.

That’s what I never understood about the idea of terraforming another planet to escape the problems Earth is going to have. If you have the technology to do that to another planet, then why not just use it to fix the one we’ve already got?

We need a proverbial “moon shot” into terraforming technology.
