Some news outlet should hire a reporter whose sole job is to respond to every assertion of “There was no collusion” with the question “are you sure you didn’t mean to say, ‘There wasn't no collusion?’”

When you watch the clip, it’s pretty obvious when he shifts between prepared remarks and extemporaneous nonsense. First, you can see him reading (or sometimes misreading) off a paper. Second, the prepared remarks are generally a full grammatical sentence, and his own remarks are . . . nothing. They’re just garbage.

I laugh-cried.  Then cried-cried.

Oh, do not be jealous. It is waaaaaaayyyyy more annoying, upsetting, and just plain sad than it is fun.

THIS. The public at large is FAR less committed to things like small-d democracy, the rule of law, and other civic virtues than they say they are and than leaders and elites would like to believe.
