The sex part is directly tied up in his personal life, and the violence is not. He’s not wanting to reduce his sex scenes because he thinks sex on TV is bad, he’s doing it for his own comfort because of his personal circumstances.

What’s the disconnect? Sex and violence aren’t the same.
