Just checked it out for Canada. Payment is $999/mth (USD$750) but insurance is not included, you can’t switch until one year, and you can only choose between the S60 and V60.

Pass.

Came here for this!

With all the subvented auto financing available there no real long-term value in putting down a schwak of cash on a depreciating asset. With used car financing it’s a different story as the interest rates generally stink. If I needed a replacement used car, I’d take Tom’s advice and put down a decent down-payment and

Not that good!

I find your lack of faith disappointing...although very well-placed.

Perfect. The timing works for me. My wife loves the Allroad and definitely wants something similar to replace it. And in looking at the maintenance costs of an aging TFSI motor, an EV option checks the right boxes for me.

Nah. We’re a wagon family. Getting harder and harder to stay a wagon family with each passing day though...

When do we get an electric V60 or V90 Cross Country? I will need a replacement for my B5 Allroad in a few years and an electric long-roof would be the perfect replacement.

Anyone wanna buy a 2009 G8 GT? :)

Agreed. If they didn’t platform share, they’d likely not bother with a next-gen Mustang. The only people that will care about its Crossover roots are the 5.0 die hards. Avis won’t give a toss as they order another 10,000 EcoBoosts for airport lots right across Florida.

Can you let your Honda rep know that those among us screaming towards 40 want the sleeper version of the Type-R without all the external aero boy racer add-ons? A Type-R that looks as restrained as an Si would be aces, and would give me an option over a Golf R (which has mixed opinions on reliability).

Agreed on the wasted potential. It was an intriguing concept: strand a small ship decades away from the nearest starbase with two crews forced to grudgingly work together to survive. But there were no real consequences to their isolation aside from the occasional supply shortage. The only time it was ever broached

Am I the only one?

A lot of customers leasing at any price these days. Gotta get that bi-weekly as low as possible!

Yet.

Even if the tune is meh, the aftermarket will soon provide. If you’re not worried about your warranty that is...

There’s probably good deals to be had on a new Regal GS as dealers blow them out. I’ve driven the current GS and it’s decent, but it won’t give you the fizz like a WRX. And bonus point for something that isn’t an A4 or a 330i. If you’re looking to go bigger - which it sounds like you are - and AWD is a must, take a

This would eliminate any question about what my next car is. At the Toronto Autoshow in February I had it down to three each with their pros and cons:

GTI: great performance, nice exterior and interior but questionable reliability
Civic Si: great performance, reliable, so-so exterior/interior
Mazda 3 Hatch: great

Perhaps the grille is meant for coupling to other 4-series for longer journeys.
