Guy went for maximum ka-chow!

I’m more interested in whether or not they’ve taken steps to reduce carbon buildup on the intake valves on the 2.0 TSI. Some forums are saying they have adopted dual fuel injectors (ie direct and port) in other markets but not in North America. My commute is short-distance, stop-and-go so I’m a prime candidate for

Insurance is usually higher than average on a Civic given the sheer volume of them. And if this guy’s brother only has five grand to spend I’d bet keeping insurance to a minimum is also on his mind. For that reason, the Matrix was the most sane choice as a balance of everything. But I’d take the Panther and spend my

Wouldn’t a short-term lease be a better option for these folks? I guess it assumes they have done the research on which vehicle is right for them versus what the payment is. And situations change: new job, new kid...

What’s your POV on lease takeovers? I’ve being perusing leasebusters recently and if you’re not picky

Did everyone just forget about the Mark VIII in “License to Kill”? Not to belittle the jarring presence of the Z3 in Goldeneye but Timothy Dalton went from arguably one of the best Astons in their history in “The Living Daylights” to this fail barge. The franchise has done worse.

C-C-C-C-CLICKBAITTT!!!!!!!

I was in a similar position and went with a Pontiac G8 GT because my budget was significantly lower. Did the job just fine. Now that the baby seat is front-facing I don’t need the rear legroom so I’m torn between a GTI or a Golf R.

How does it compare to the Camaro Turbo 1LE. Price difference in Canada is about $100/month on a three year lease. Is the Camaro worth the extra money?

Cheapest one I found on trader.ca new was $36,997. That’s actually not too bad. At that price I’d probably buy it versus leasing it.

Not in Canada you can’t. A 36 month lease with nothing down is $827/month taxes in according to the build and price. Definitely less cash on the hood up here.

I bought an ‘05 Mazdaspeed in Titanium Grey five years ago. Still have it. I usually get bored of my cars and want something else after a couple of years - especially a car I have to park all winter - but anytime I even contemplate selling mine, I take it for a drive, and the thought leaves my head. I never tire of

They aren’t giving them away in Canada (Pulled the numbers from their sites a few moments ago):

As soon as they confirm the specs on the GTI and R I’ll make my Mk VII vs Mk VIII decision. If the rumours of a 400hp R are true and they don’t jack the price by some ridiculous amount, I’d be on board.

Welcome to winter driving in Toronto. But to be fair, if this was rush hour at what looks like the 401 west of Bayview Avenue they wouldn’t have much use for forward visibility anyway.

The problem is the one of the left cost me less than half of what the one on the right would. And it’s not like it’s 50% less fun. But I encourage others to buy new so I can buy yours from you in 2029.

I’ve owned a 2005 Canadian-spec Mazdaspeed MX-5/Miata for four years now. I bought it for myself, not for any future collectable value, as it was the one Miata I’ve driven (I’ve driven all four generations and owned an NA M Edition previously) that I always wanted. When the right one came up, I jumped on it. Matt
