No manual? Forget it.
My best-of-show pick at the Canadian International Auto Show last week was the new S4 Sedan. The S5 Sportback would be a great addition to the stable and is the closest I can get to a hot version of my Allroad but not with an auto it don’t. Unfortunate, but that’s a deal-breaker for me.

Here’s the sound bite. Someone do what needs to be done.

Checking my stable:
Cadillac DTS: Driver side
Mazdaspeed MX-5: Driver side
Audi Allroad: Passenger side

I can certainly empathize. What is really happening is that people have already made their choice but want a “car guy” to reinforce their crappy decision.

You had me sold until I remembered there are no back seats. The three-week-old currently sleeping and farting in my arms means I’ll need some rear accommodation in order to sell it through to her mommy. 997 Carrera S it is.

I owned a ‘94 M Edition and currently own an ‘05 Mazdaspeed. I know which one I like more.

I have a 170 lb. Leonberger, a 2015 Audi Allroad, and no regrets.

Or you could live in Canada like me and already pay Mexican Wall prices!

I just bought a DTS. Good to know it can take some abuse.

But thank goodness that’s the only thing he has no clue about!

Two years ago I drove the Stelvio Pass and the German autobahns in a rented Fiat 500L diesel. I chose poorly.

I’ve already made this leap. I pick up my low-mile 2008 Cadillac DTS Platinum next week. It’s for running the short distance to work and back. Already dropped $500 for a safety inspection and new fog light (front bumper has to be removed to replace it) so it has proper cheap-expensive car cred!

It’s what Burt Reynolds drives on moving day! Glorious!
