If you would have told me 15 years ago when I was walking out of the theater that there would be at least 7 more of these starring The Rock, Charlize Theron, Helen Mirren, and Jason Statham, among others, I would have punched you square in the ding dong.

I tend to agree here, most of my hobbies, physical or not, fall under the health burner. Things like riding my bike are obviously health because they’re physical. Things like working on cars and building things are mental.

I was at the air show in Mountain Home, Idaho when a Thunderbird crashed back in 2003. That one did not fare so well, pilot was unharmed though.

I do this on bigger purchases (tires, furniture, etc.) and usually do so by asking if there are any coupons or other discounts that I might be able to take advantage of. For those it seems like it works more often than not. My wife hates it, but free money is free money.

Come buy my 85, un-fucked with, for $2k. Much better deal.

Used mine camping a couple weeks back, took eggs off my Lodge skillet with no fuss at all. Worth every penny.

The ratio of Idaho stories that make me facepalm to those that don’t is getting astronomical. On the plus side it keeps the riff raff out. Our roads suck. Our trails are terrible. The scenery is garbage. No need to visit.

We recently moved home to help with my family, came from a 1400 square foot house (my wife and I plus our 2 year old), moved to a 2400 square foot house (added a second kid), and last summer drastically downsized to an 1100 square foot home. 4 people, 2 dogs, 1 cat. 1 bathroom. I was really worried at first, but that

As the owner of an 08 WRR and an 05 DL1000, I can say you made a good choice. The Strom is built for long distances and eats them up happily, but the WRR is a commuters dream. Efficient, easy to move and park, and mine will happily lift the front wheel through second gear. About the best you can get IMHO.

As the owner of a 92 E250, I can confidently say that it is very possible to get laid in an Econoline.

Just buy what you want and coat everything in plastidip.

After reviewing the security tapes, we found out that the man had stolen my tip jar before I walked up to the counter THEN USED THE MONEY TO PAY FOR HIS GODDAMN PIZZA.

Every time I’ve skipped gear, it’s come back to bite me. I wore shorts once and burned the shit out of my calf on the exhaust. I skipped a jacket and it poured on me on the ride home. And so on. I could get away with skimping a bit on gear on my Ural, because for some reason it felt safer. I don’t think it was, but it

IMHO thank you notes are just good practice. I send them after job interviews these days. Nothing wrong with being polite and it’s a pretty easy gesture that can sometimes affect outcomes.

...and a soundtrack that consists of Power Of Love on infinite repeat.

Not really. I watched a video but could have done it without it, just make sure you keep track of how it all came apart. You need a couple torx bits, I think T10 and T8.

+1 for this one too. Larger than the Cryo I usually carry but every bit as useful with a better handle. You can feel the quality. Paid less than $50 for mine.

Another +1, this knife is literally in my pocket right now. I disassembled mine last week to give it a thorough cleaning and oiling and it feels like new again. Gets used daily. Great little blade.

I had a really good dealer experience about a year back, seems like as good a place as any to share.
