I haven’t read the article yet, but I will in just a second. I just get extremely unusually excited about the XG350 (model year 2005-06) because its dual-piston calipers and 12" rotors fit directly on the same generation Hyundai Tiburon, which otherwise had single-piston and 11" respectively. I have done this upgrade…
Between myself and my friends we refer tires as tires or tyres depending on their sidewall:
TIRE:
Don’t forget Honda Beat!
I do exactly the same.
Anytime sir
False.
Oh man, tonight I went to watch a YouTube video and its ad was this stupid Cruze mullet commercial.
Yes! I know exactly what you mean! The Porsche part hits me especially since I wanted a 930 since I was 10 (ok, now I want a 993 though at 25). In any case, I would daily drive the old Porsche. But it’s increasingly getting more difficult to get an old 911, even a beat-up one, which I would buy for the right price and…
The knob itself, I don’t think so, seems like a normal size to me, however the entire lever was fairly tall so a baseball bat height would be a better description lol.
Don’t forget the V6 6-speed Tiburon! :)
944 owner here, and I too am not much of a fan of convertibles personally, though they have weirdly grown on me lately. I do think the 944 cabrio is pretty cool too, but maybe I am biased. Thankfully the roof can be removed from the 944 coupe so you still get a large open top without the rigidity loss. Best of both…
Came here to say it sounds like the late ‘90s coming back, and then saw this post which sums that up!
Hey mine too!
It’s OK.
I like it better than the previous season, and I am optimistic it will become more interesting over time. Some things are still annoying though, like the Golf going around the Nurburgring apparently passing all of these otherwise absurdly fast cars. Clearly staged, and it annoyed myself and my friends…
The manual keeps me from speeding in a different way:
I have thought of a fairly similar idea before (only mine would have kept a steering input device and pedals).
Depends on the person really. I am convinced I would have zero issue DD’ing an Elise.
And agreed, collisions shouldn’t be a factor in this lol.
In 2014, I saw a Carrera GT driving along.
In February.
In Canada.
YES! I came here to post this, and I somehow thought I was the only one who thought this was an indicator of “I am a tool / poser” - Glad to see I am not the only one lol. I feel like I have seen this less often lately, but like 5 years ago this was on too many vehicles.
