Damn. That is an impressive design.
Damn. That is an impressive design.
I understand this feeling. Unfortunately, I don’t know much of a way around it. Unless you get really creative and do something to your car that no one ever has done ;)
That’s fair, but a lot of us as enthusiasts prefer to spend that money on cars instead of travel. Not to say what you’re doing voids you of being an enthusiast of course, but this is the way many of us are. I myself have thoughts often among the line of: “hmm, I could spend 1-2k on a vacation that I’d enjoy for 1-2…
“ I came out to find that a Hyundai Tiburon had wedged itself so tightly between my car and the Mercury Tracer that had formerly been behind me that I had scratches on my bumper.”
On the behalf of the Tiburon community as a die-hard enthusiast of this car I apologize :( There are a lot of us who really care about this…
I understand. It bothers me too when people say “it’s just a ____”. Meaningless.
and I want to add: because I am experienced in switching between perspective and isometric I know for fact that this Centenario looks damn good. I am really excited to see it in photographs. Or at least rendered in perspective.
Came here to post this. I’m an industrial designer and work on CAD models all day. I can guarantee everyone the only reason why this Lamborghini looks odd in these images (which are rendered from CAD) is because they are not in perspective.
I also just especially love that the exterior design character lines aren’t overdone. The inner front lights were a given on this model as they are fairly iconic for what this car is, but the rest of the lines... just work. It’s modern, elegant, just lovely.
Wow. I really like it. I was a fan of the A110 since I have known of it and I really like the resemblance of it in this model. Looking forward to where this is going!
Also: “My car doesn’t need winter tires because it has 4WD”
“Car of the Year” Awards.
Seriously, they are meaningless.
I came to post this, and was going to post it, but then I google searched for an image and found that I guess I don’t like them after all. They’re ok, still a better example of polished chrome stock wheels, but man chrome is hard to pull off.
I agree with you completely. And a Cobra is one of those cars where a “kit” or “replica” of it is more acceptable than others IMO. For one, the real original ones as good as makes no difference are unobtainable. But to add, at least you can build one with a Ford V8 UNLIKE other kit cars that look like say a Ferrari…
Not only is it a bad name, but there is also the VOLT, which sounds a lot like Bolt, which is going to get confusing.
Nailed it! As an industrial designer, I know exactly what you are saying.
I just rev at people when they’re in the way. It usually scares them away and I get to listen to my engine, win-win :P
My friend with an S4 got loaner cars before (though we are in Canada if that makes a difference). One time it was a Corolla and this time a Malibu.
He was not happy.
