You know, since I was 11 there was a Hyundai that I would dream about. I bought it when I was 18. I am 24 today, still drive it, and it still makes me happy. With over 200k miles on the odometer.

Me too! I recall times when I had serious issues with my Tiburon (turned out to be a failing MAF sensor undetected by OBII) and while it was misfiring and barely moving on the highway I was still happy to be driving it.
Man, I agree the MKT is the worst-looking vehicle on sale these days. It reminds me of a fat man wearing a suit. And the rear Lincoln logo and reverse lights layout looks like a penis. BUT if someone is happy to own it that’s great in my opinion.
Came here to post this.
Seriously, I get so much heat about this but just because a car says “Ferrari” on it doesn’t automatically make it good looking. The F430 front bumper always reminded me of an Oldsmobile Alero and the 458 is just awkward, especially the whole rear half of it. (just to name two recent examples). It doesn’t mean I don’t…
Trust me I’m growing older as fast as I can
:/ Guess we’ll have to wait and find out
I know, my little brother has it! Definitely need a wheel for that game. I tried it with the controller.. and, that wasn’t happening lol
(Not to mention I had a real car to deal with that took up my resources)
Not just NFS, will get Gran Turismo too. I used to play that all the time up through GT4. After that I finished high school and was far too busy at colleg for games or even for GT5 when that came out. Made me sad, but, priorities.. Now I’m 24 and can be a kid again woo! Lol
Cayman GT4!? Count me in. I am buying a playstation and a wheel to play this game. It’s been a few years since I had a console.
I also hope they bring in all the cars they used to have in the Underground series.
This certainly depends on the car. Throughout my six years of Tiburon ownership, I have never ever at all even got remotely tired of depressing the clutch. I have had a stock one, a Spec Stage 2, and now a Clutchmasters Stage 2. Driving manual is second nature to me. While I am stuck in traffic, I have never had…
I was actually hoping it would be called Gear Knobs. Funny name IMO.
See, I find brand loyalty is ok with a simple product, like ketchup. Cars are not a simple product, and I am tired of people treating them like one. It is a moderately complex series of systems mangled together, and if a supplier’s particular set of window switches failed prematurely, that doesn’t mean “the car” is…
Virtually none. A lot of people don’t understand this, but I like cars based on the car itself. I don’t care if that particular car has Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Skoda, Ford or whatever written on it. When I talk about cars, I usually refer to a car by what it is, rather than its brand. This also adds to my preference for…
I understand this. About a month ago a rubber hose burst on the PS system on my Tiburon. I thought it was going to suck, but it doesn’t. It does at parking speeds a little, but maybe because I dropped over 100lbs off the front end on my car it’s not that bad. And once you go above 3kmh, it’s actually great. I really…
It’s not just that though. it’s that it’s fairly generic :/ I expected more from Fiat for some reason.
thanks for the insight. Sigh, I guess I’ll just avoid commenting on The Garage.
Wait a minute.. why am I greyed out AGAIN???? It took about 10 months to finally be ungreyed, and now I am greyed out again! Ughhhhhhhhhhhh
