I use mailbox. Happy as a clam with it, also checks my iCloud email on android easily :D

My wife swears by this. I have not used it myself, but she is using it from her tablet and etc to do multi desktop work (access work machine for basic drag drop to dropbox and use her laptop locally).

If you have a Chromebook, it works very very well (for me anyhow) to access your home PC and get work done on the road. I have even set it up for some of our clients as a method for accessing work while on the road so they can do everything from get their assistant working on some menus (a bistro), another working on…

My preferred for now is Chrome Remote Desktop.
