the beta tag is not in the commercials...

i'd rather not auto send a text or email or set an alarm that was incorrect on the occasions that it is. everything else, like nav, calls, search, don't need a second button press.

android learns and improves. you can even turn it on or off if you wear a tinfoil hat.

you don't have to remember anything per say, they are simple commands, there is also a big help button when you initiate voice commands. lastly, if you want to get down to *business* voice commands spanks siri.

i don't know how windows phone is doing, but I remember windows mobile being able to do most of this stuff way back when. quick google search seems like their voice commands are ok.

android adapts too, it asks you if you'd like to send your voice data to adapt or not (+1 for privacy) and then you can turn it on or off if you choose in the settings.

not much different in android - initiate voice actions, press the big help button, and a screen similar to that pops up, plus there is a button for a video.

wah. as soon as you initiate voice actions, there is a big "help" button

that just means it works better for *you.* you can set up voice actions to learn your particular voice better, btw, it ask you the 1st time, and is in the settings.

who will be motivated to write software for this type of device if this type of device doesn't come out?

There are too many people who if not given the instructions (even those who have had unfreezeable in their freezer alcohol at some point in their life and should "know" better) try and fail at this. The article gives the recipe for success in one try. #trollpatrol

I use splashtop because the computer I use at work is on wireless, so no WOL for me.

I've used Splashtop a few times between my work computer and am android phone and for it's price ($0,) it is great! I like how I can either connect it via wifi if I'm at work and via my gmail account elsewhere. I might install the client on my home computer in the near future.

unfortunately, they probably should have rushed something half baked out sooner, or just scrapped windows mobile 6.5-6.55. the public would have bought more handsets, and everything would have been worked out eventually. they lost out big to the steady growing android and already srtong ios.

lol

the neighbors did

Where was that apple fanboy troll from the other day? All OSs have flaws. You just either need to be diligent in not making them affect you, or roll through it willy nilly and let the chips fall where they may.

lol u mad? i don't get malware on my phone or my computers because I read. I don't play video games, so I don't know where that came from, troll. no android phone will outsell an iphone. no one is denying you that. noone is even saying that if android's business model went as far as only using 1 phone it would beat
