Hour 65 I learned that Demon Drug and Armor Skin will last a whole battle. I had assumed they were temp buffs for special moments in the battle. I’d usually do a demon drug after I got the guy limping. So many little things like that keep happening to me. Hour 101 right now.

I don’t watch youtube videos or streams (so maybe this is where you pick this stuff up), but I do find playing with others does help me pick up new skills, pointing out a sling beetle I hadn’t noticed before, better spots to fight a mob. I like to solo too but I become a better solo hunter when I play with others.

I’ve just learned in this game I do the quest solo first, then I’ll join others and help out. Granted it can get clunky, but at least there is an option. I’ve missed a lot of quest dialogue in MMO’s in the past cause everyone needs to kill asap.

I’m probably the only person who appreciates that MHW makes me wait to watch cut scenes.
