@Xeno: Comments like this make me wish there was a "like" button. They don't really warrant a response, but deserve to be recognized.

I hate to sounds fanboyish, but COME ON!!!!

@longooglite: Exactly. But I do think we are more plugged into gadgets nowadays. While not at school I talk to most of my friends via texting or Facebook. Reason being its easier then calling and I have no way of getting out to see them. I live in the country and most of my friends live in suburban areas. It makes

Really most of these are stupid and obviously moved on with time...

@2nd White Line: This just blows my mind. Your saying that in academic papers, these kids are using "text speak" to abbreviate? I can't say I've ever seen or heard about it, but I take your word. When I text I'll use "u" for "you" never "r" for "are" though. I don't really know why. But never, ever ever would I think

@2nd White Line: I honestly don't have any idea what your talking about. I;ve never seen that in my life and I'm 15. Perhaps girls in public school do, but I find that highly unlikely in a "essay" people would do that.

@2nd White Line: i rather hate the "lol"... nothing irks me more

@FriedPeeps: I had a greeeaat blackberry pie the other night.

Apple has always succeeded in revolutionizing industries, such as the Portable Music Player, Personal Computer, and Smartphone. At the time when Apple stepped into them, they were highly undeveloped and they progressed with great strides through Apple.

I would probably go through 2 rolls a day just playing with it. Wouldn't be too green lol.

@medopal: and Apple jumps into casual console gaming??

@p.prove: Yes. The App Store is probably fueled by impulse purchases on the 1.99 - .99 games, so the trials would probably ruin that.

Well I think its quite obvious that Apple is patenting the use of a capacitive touchscreen to instruct Objective-C coded apps.

A touch screen Shuffle would be amazing. What I could see it as would be just like the Magic Trackpad, but with the Play/Pause and Forward/Back Arrows.

@tande04: I don't think that'll ever happen. Honestly, what's to change? Carriers and specs. Carriers will happen, yes, but Apple will never sell tiered phones based on specs. It's just not their style. The average consumer doesn't care about them as much as they just want to have an iPhone.

@EADG: Congratulations to them. Seriously.

Its on issues like these that I reconsider my conservative right-wingness. I think people should do what they want. Who cares what they do.

@Cribbage Left: I'm a pretty conservative guy I'd say, but I believe gay-marriage is a right. I don't see the merit in it, but in the Constitution we are given unalienable rights in which I believe who one wants to marry is one. Besides I have a friend who has two moms. They're great people so why can;t they be
