Same here. We’ve never had a problem checking our bags with the hotel front desk and then just coming back later after the room was ready to be moved into. Why just hang around in an airport killing time when you could use it as an extra half day exploring?

That’s what we do when we stay at our fav beach resort. We even plan it that way. Get there couple hours early, drop off the bags, head to the beach. Not a big deal.

We did that in Las Vegas early in the morning. The hotel told us we could check our luggage and gave us a time to return for our room. It was like getting an extra day.
