There are ways to work on the problem without taking guns from people that abide by the law.

Except the gun laws in chicago are circumvented by people buying guns across the border. I live in southern WI and every time there is a gun show the amount of IL plates in the parking lots are astounding, lots of chicago flag stickers and people wearing chicago-themed apparel on shoppers too.

People legally buy guns,

Those are nice platitudes, however not sure how many gang members, murders and rapists you can educate and rehabilitate to fit into a society that values delayed gratification when they have impulse control issues to begin with.

This is further proof we need to re-evaluate our penal system completely. If recidivism rate is that high, we aren’t doing our job as a society to help people when they get out or during their incarceration period. 76.9 of drug offenders being arrested again should be a MASSIVE hint that we need to get our shit

This was a reasonably common thing, strange as it seems today. My mother worked for a liqour store in the 60's and early 70's, so her and her kids from that marriage collected tons of liquor bottles and beer cans. Some of the more unique liquor bottles are worth a considerable amount. I’d be fascinated to learn why

This is partially true. The formats they can be played in are not really growing player-wise or supported to the point where buying cards is worth it financially.
When the top prize you can win is $5 to $10k, it isn’t worth it to drop $10k on a deck for the format. If you can do that without worrying, then you don’t

Absolutely, and in your hobby market, the lack of arcades makes people nostalgic for their youth. Believe me there are some I would love to get my hands on myself. (Real Ghostbusters, Gremlins - unreleased)

Basically this happens because for most print media (Magazines, mass market books, comics has a very low per-item cost, so often when a retailer has a return agreement with the publisher, say they will give you back 50% of what you paid for each copy unsold at the end of a specific time frame of a title, the publisher

The fun thing is if people would have thought the game was going to be a big deal, and held on to their cards, didn’t shuffle roughly and didn’t toss some cards in the trash at Gen Con when it launched after playing a few games, the cards wouldn’t be worth anything now.

Good to know about calibre. I think I used to use it on my mac to convert to mobi. Curious, where do you buy your books? I have a hard time paying full kindle prices these days, and I haven’t kept up with what sites are reliable for getting reasonably priced books.

I need to do this, since my ebooks are all scattered amongst a couple devices and older kindles, etc. Probably will need to get a ton of them again as I am sure some of the old devices don’t work anymore.

you’re a cigarette.

Why are we walking like this?

We don’t have a brand name instant pot, but it is basically the same thing. I use it fairly regularly to make soup, and there is simply no going back. Everything from making a base with the remnants of a rotisserie chicken, to throwing the pasta in just before supper is so nice.

I don’t get the obsession with them but

Sold. definitely picking this one up. Loved the DS game, but never dove in on the mobile version.

Just curious, why would you assume I am a bot? I don’t get that one often...or at all actually.

As for Jypsy, it was inspired by a misheard song lyric and my first name begins with a J so..there’s that.

I pronounce DOGE like I pronounce GIF. As god intended.
“DOHJ” and “JIF” the only proper ways to pronounce these things.

What about us that fell in love with DiscJam? Should we get this too?

Seriously, this just is further proof the Alliance has been evil all along. There is no doubting it now.

Such a great song, such a great album, and they still are putting out fantastic tunes today. Definitely one of my go-to bands whenever I want to sing along to something.
