Oh same here, but I also think the timeline is a bit vague.

Did dude just saunter out there, alone? No one else thought to go “Shit...someone’s shooting out there”

If he didn’t know about the shooting and realized “there’s a drunk racist out there, getting into his car, maybe I can talk him out of it”

Bars can get

I’d be more concerned about the drunk asshole driving home and hurting someone else, so I can see why the guy followed him out.

They kind of did this before with Plane Shift: Zendikar, which now seems to have been a test to see how the community and players would react.
Now they are releasing a full book, so that is pretty rad!

Loot boxes have been in Rocket League for almost 2 years now and clearly players don’t mind them. The game is regularly updated, new content is always being added, I think it is decent value proposition.

Wildstar was an awesome game at launch, but unfortunately the friends I played with quit long long ago, and it has been hard to get back into in any shape. I loved the basebuilding the most.

Considering the amount of players that still play, there is a massive amount of money that goes into server upkeep, development, updates, and customer support that has to be paid for.
A subscription model makes complete sense since the only other source of in-game Real Money Transactions are cosmetic items.

Just like Yahoo/AOL etc chatrooms and even the early days of gaming servers (Think QuakeSpy and such), this has been a forever thing. “GIRLS ONLY, NO DUDES!” and of course no girls were to be found in those rooms.

When I was a teen back in the early 90's, I thought it was just kids being kids. Now it continues, and I

It might be core to the plot of the episode or take up too much screen time to be edited out.

Really? Did you miss all of Obama’s presidency? Ape mockery was common, especially about Michelle. Roseanne just lost her job because of comparing an african-american to apes.

Remember the people offended by this sort of thing aren’t pokemon fans. They see a white kid dressed as a monkey of some sort and painting his face brown and likely acting ape-like, which is something you just don’t do here in the states. The party comparison applies here. Imagine cosplaying as ash in this costume

If someone were to dress up in a gorilla costume, no problem, most people wear a mask, and it is clearly a gorilla.

If someone were to dress up in a gorilla costume with a visible face but paint their face brown.....that would definitely cause quite a bit of questioning on the motivation.

The issue is the combination of perceived blackface while being dressed like an ape-like creature. Both of those things are often used to ridicule african-americans in the states, so the producers decided to avoid the drama all together and just not air the episode rather than gut it significantly.

Considering the amount of times people have equated african-americans to animals, especially primates -in recent history, even-, when you combine it with a white person dressing up as a primate and wearing brown facepaint.....yeah it is better to just avoid the controversy completely.

Yes it does as an optional control scheme. I have used it a couple times, and it works very well, but I prefer my pro controller.

Any chance this could work in the states? I would love to figure out a way to get this working on my phone here.

Plenty of people who may not have other systems play them online, or they may not have a computer that can run games like fortnite at a reasonable pace, so the switch is a great option for them. I prefer the portability of the switch rather than playing on my PC for most games available. Just sitting back and playing

This is true, mainly because it isn’t out yet.

If we are including upcoming games: Smash, Monster Hunter: Generations (I think it will have online play), Fifa, Sonic Racing, Dragonball FighterZ, and probably others I am forgetting.

Is this sarcasm?

Fortnite, Splatoon, Mario Tennis, Mario Kart, NBA, Doom, Minecraft, Rocket League are all frequently played online.

First I love the screen name. Darmok references make me happy.
Second I think this just applies to digital games, as it says in the article.

She rolls her eyes because you stated a fact as an opinion.
