Imagine the concept of some people having fun differently than you do, and not being a douche about it

Meh, indie slop. Fable, Avowed, Clockwork and Starfield looks leaps and bounds better than anything in the industry.

What a pathetic showing. The only remotely interesting thing is the MGS3 remake and who knows if thats gonna actually work out or not. Hopefully Metal Gear Online gets revived along with it. it’d be MGO3 I suppose.

The vast, vast majority of these games are multiplatform - even Metal Gear is coming to the Xbox which I found a little surprising. Why’s there no mention of the ones that come to the Xbox but there is for when they come to PC?

It’s very funny that this article makes no mention of the games announced also coming to Xbox, but does announce the ones also coming to PC. Xbox has such an uphill battle when even the journalists are biased against it.

Sorta weird framing, most of these games aren’t exclusives. In fact the majority are coming to Xbox no?

If anything this whole showcase got me super hyped for the Xbox showcase. Sony anounced this after Phil’s now quite famous KindaFunny interview, and it really felt like it was a response to Phil looking lowkey excited about the upcoming Xbox showcase. Like you could tell Phil knew he couldn’t hype it too much because

I didn’t get that excited for this showcase. They showed some interesting games for sure and some were new IPs, but there was no WOW moment for me. These days we seem to be lacking WOW moments that take the gaming industry by storm. The last big one I can remember is Geoff Keighley surprising us with Elden Ring at the

10 bucks says the edgy, anti-capitalist game has a Battle Pass and is filled with microtransactions.

To preface, I’m absolutely not pro-mega mergers and in general feel like this (and most consolidation in general) is bad for the industry’s health and creativity.

Oh no, at some point in the future microsoft might be almost as bad as nintendo or sony are now.

I haven’t found any bugs on Series X yet. Seems pretty polished to me.

Wow, such jaded. They just showed that a quarter of their studios have games coming out in the first half of this year alone. That’s pretty good going.

And yet people are worried about a “monopoly” when Microsoft wants to buy Activision.

I mean, the boring part is your opinion, personally I disagree but fair enough. However Bioshock? Really can’t say I’m picking up Bioshock vibes. Much more like a cross between Far Cry, Borderlands with a touch of Left4Dead in my mind

Everything

The hate is because it’s not a fun game, it was written badly, the trailers were amateur hour garbage, and because the price, not because the MC.

The point.

And what Sony still does? Fuck yes they should.

This is a nice longform article in the vein of Jason’s Schreier’s reporting of behind-the-scenes game development. Glad to see this article type again. Great job!
