Another sign of free market capitalism at work? “we reserve the right to refuse business to anyone for any reason.”

Do they really depreciate because they’re poorly made though? Or is it the fact that you can get a brand new Maserati lease for super cheap compared to something like a Mercedes or Porsche? Because if you can lease a brand new one cheap, who’s going to want to finance a used Ghibli for $60k? It’s gotta drop way down

I know it’s a stupid thing to take into account, but to me the Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli, and Yokohoma just look silly. I’m sure it’s a bit better tread pattern than the standard blocks but they look like cheap off-brands that try to look overly aggressive to make people think they’re good.

Weird, I would have thought gum sales would have soared during covid. Having to mask everywhere smelling your own stinky breath. My wife would buy huge bags of lifesavers and big packs of extra gum since she masked much longer being in healthcare.

Well and there’s a reason actual bulletproof cars have specific rating for it and more than just thicker metal in the body panels.

The car is as bulletproof as it is full self driving.

The Esperante pic looks like a surprised shark.

So you’re saying they didn’t need to use a Nissan Frontier to help with the landing?

Wow, that makes this look good...

Yes, really. The Lancia is all straight hard parallel edges, and the Ioniq 5 is curvy with odd slashes, upturned bottom character line and dropping roofline. It’s not just the basic silouhette, otherwise all hatches would be considered the same look. But it goes beyond the shape. The side profile of the R3X has less

Nah too many black and white horses out there, it’s just boring. Give me a brown, male horse with a wagon attached to the back.

In addition to the distance traveled in rural areas and the temperature in the midwest a lot of people in smaller towns keep their cars a lot longer, and battery degradation is still a thing long-term. I’m not sure about Norway but a lot of European countries’ inspections mean it’s costly to keep older cars going and

I understand your argument, but just think for Cybertruck money if you really want to be quirky and different you could buy a mint Citroen SM, Fiat Multipla, and Renault Avantime and not be seen as a wank.

F30 BMW.

Eh I don’t see any Delta in the Ioniq 5. To me it looks like some designer tried to make a Cyberpunk car that got toned town to almost a boring normal hatch in the boardroom.

A bunch of old cars but no Lancia Delta, really?

Yeah it’s totally a Delta.

Honestly it’s not that far off. It’s a 2-speed so those 180 hp aren’t getting you anywhere very fast, the only time it had any real power was when you kept it in low or at freeway+ speeds where the RPM was high enough in high gear. It’s a full-size, yeah a 75 Eldorado was about a foot longer but that’s all bumper, not

Nailed it. Between the Hyundai/Kia sponsorships, EV love, and Tesla hate, the Ioniq models may as well be the second coming of Jesus to writers here.

Are light bars really that cool? Very few of the cars listed are cool in any way, and most are overall ugly. Personally I don’t think it makes or breaks a car in any way, and the only light bar that’s remotely cool is the Charger and Durango but only for the fact that it makes cops easier to spot at night.
