“Every time he does something now in his life, there’s going to be someone picketing?” Hilow asked the Times. “There’s never been criminal charges against him. Whether people agree or disagree, that’s the reality of the situation.”

With any luck, his teammates and those on the opposing squads will help with that. I hope they make sure he’s reminded on every. damned. play.

In my experience and observation, people who talk like she does in this instance are banking on the fact that you're not going to call their bluff. I've also seen an episode of this show where man and woman take a serious ass beating.
I’ve seen it too many times. It’s always funny.
Her natural instinct?? Oh please. This garbage person has only ever defended her privilege, not people. She trying to sound hard even in an apology for her obviously drunk dumbassery.
“Unites” is still an English word.
They could just hang him and say It’s a joke. ‘Cause nooses are apparently funny.

It’s joke to him because they don’t see us as equals or even human.
If your defense is “It was a joke”, or you have to explain said joke, it wasn’t a joke.
In other news the Milwaukee FOP just announced free sign language classes.
All of these “it was a joke” MFers, I would go Joe Pesci on them and have them explain how it was a joke, why is this funny, what joke were you making here. I have a relative who says awful things and when confronted goes with this excuse, and I am so done with it.

I want to be cynical as well, but with this department’s push, any “malfunctions or accidents” will probably be more strongly looked at than in other places.
For those interested, MPD’s Equipment Policy is public (but it does not seem to have been updated with these changes yet), with 4-223 Body Worn Cameras being the concluding section: http://www2.minneapolismn.gov/police/policy/mpdpolicy_4-200_4-200
I’m sure that will be strongly enforced.
