The McD’s coffee issue is a famous case where the public got duped by a corporation into thinking the injured person was in the wrong—she won, for good reason.

And she has a bunch of media people who do all her tweeting for her.  What she tweets isn’t what she thinks.

She completely ignores that she is using a national media platform to SPEAK out loud about being silenced. If people can hear you every day, MGT, you are not being silenced though you ought to be.

Yup, nothing scares gun owners more than the party who has done almost nothing about gun control taking power from the party who has done literally nothing about gun control.

I would guess that her constituents elected her because there was an R next to her name, and she was running unopposed (because the opponent dropped out due to death threats from Greene’s supporters). I would also guess that a fair number of people who voted for her didn’t know a thing about what she actually believed…

The wait and see people will never have enough evidence to convince them. They are just proud of their ignorance like so many other people, but they special because reasons.

This is the real problem of the GOP that no one except Stacey Abrams focuses on when outside of election years - they know they have a platform that a majority of voters do not want as a consequence they MUST cheat to maintain power ergo they will always do whatever they can to keep the electorate ignorant and impeded…

I have both in my family; my mom wants to get it, is in the target range/demographic, signed up for it, and is awaiting notification as to where/when she can get it. My aunt/her sister, who is a year or so younger, is all “you don’t know what they’re putting in that stuff!” and probably won’t.

Shoot, even if the vaccine was available we still got people who “don’t trust it” and “want to wait and see”.  If you’re lucky enough to get a shot, get it please.

The nice thing about science is it doesn’t care if you believe in it.  Gravity will still keep your feet on the ground and your GPS will still work even if you think the earth is flat.

History in my small town school system in the 80s was very... streamlined. I think Crispus Attucks got a mention, the Civil War was bad and the Underground Railroad was good and then Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks formed Voltron and defeated racism. Oh and George Washington Carver invented peanut butter.

It's history. Either it happened or it didn't. Opting out of learning what really happened is only slightly less dumb than opting out of things like evolution or a round earth.

Why these so-called patriots don’t get that “black history” IS American history, in its purest form is beyond me? This country was built on the backs and forged in the blood of people of African descent.
