The ice-beating scene has to go into my list of all-time favourites. So bloody and gross and fantastic. I just want to see Cheryl with some friends. She has absolutely no one, and that is a bad place to be.

I've found every episode so far is improved by watching them immediately in a row. I'm going to assume that this episode follows suit. It looks less and less likely that Katya is going to show up, but despite that I am still hoping for a finale including all the big players of the universe. I'm wondering if Season 9…
I never knew how much I needed Krieger to have a cat. The fact it is a robo-cat makes it better.
I'm really still hoping that Jason Blossom was mistaken for Archie, and Archie was the original target - maybe by Grundy's ex? Improbable but might liven up proceedings. Plus some payoff for the Grundy debacle.
The only 'coma-fantasy' episodes are season 8. No one knows anything about 9 and 10 yet.
Having finished it last night, I think that one of the biggest problems is that it comes after Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, two of the strongest assets to the expanded MCU (I cannot comment on Daredevil, as I've been unable to sit through an entire episode.) Would we have condemned it as much had it come before Luke…
The thing that got me was that didn't Hermione bring Veronica to Riverdale because the apartment was the only thing they had left because it was in Hermione's name? Not knowing much about real estate laws in the US, doesn't that imply she owns it? So why do they need the nestegg for 'rent'?
This makes me uncomfortable. And the little 'nah' sounds like a distressed baby goat.
This is the best idea ever. If you never hear from me again, it's because I died testing this out.
It looks like they've taken an enjoyable, quirky book and turned it into every other YA Paranormal adaption, Tim Burton-style. Trying not to be disappointed, but…
I never count my TV show renewals before they've hatched ;) But yes, I agree - NYC kind of has the 'heart' of MCU, especially with the Netflix shows based there. Though I am loving a lot of aspects of LA - the colour, Howard's menagerie, the different kinds of people.
I miss Ana Jarvis so much, but Rose's addition to the episode was very welcome and great fun. I miss Angie terribly, and I hope Season 3 (well, I hope *for* Season 3) sees everyone back in NYC.
I wonder if Rachel is the Rachel Cohen that ended up at Brandeis.
I have no qualms with the episode - it certainly won't go down in my top ten, but it was sweet and the Hayao Miyazaki tribute was incredible. It may go up in my regard if we see Kumiko around Springfield in future episodes (or was the comic book discount box at the end an implication that she left/didn't exist?)
