The best defense I could make of Trump’s mental abilities is that he just doesn’t care. Maybe he could speak coherently about...something, but he doesn’t bother because he knows it doesn’t matter.

OK, this story is what I’ve wanted to talk about all morning, but I can’t stop laughing at THIS answer to Trump’s question of whether anybody would believe that he blurts out sensitive information. He’s looking extra shitty and his brain is misfiring like a bad musket. I don’t think he’ll make it through the next election. He isn’t the tough guy he thinks he is. 

I feel this way about so many people who have lived lives free of consequence.  And I feel guilty for feeling that way.

Voting him out of office won’t resolve the problem of his setting the standard that lawlessness is okay and carries no penalties. It won’t punish the many people who refused subpoenas or lied to congress. And as we’ve seen before, the next republican president will use that to be even worse.

Or maybe she should keep reminding people for the ten millionth time that a single-payer system will save money by reducing how much people pay for health care, instead of getting trapped into saying “I will raise your taxes” so that republicans can use it in campaign ads.

Just based on their respective accomplishments I have a lot more faith that Warren can execute her plans more effectively.

It’s shocking to me that they think their strategy would ever work. Constantly insulting people and having ridiculous opinions is never going to get them anywhere.
