Awww, sorry. Sometimes we are so pressured to present “friends” to prove we have full lives, when all we need is to live our lives in peace. Pregnancy seems to enhance our conformity genes too. At least this is all true in my case. 

Mine was grey, green, and black for both kids, but my SIL has a pink edged one and her booster seat is all pink and black. Look at toilet seats/trainers too, they are usually distinctly gendered. 

What’s most insulting is that girl’s stuff is over-the-top girly, especially for mid-to-low income shoppers. Higher end stuff is more neutral. But the layers of frills on cheaper kids clothes and stuff like car seats is crazy. 

I didn’t have many (also prob 3?) friends when I was pregnant (and two lived outside my state), but surprisingly my co-workers threw me one and I was so surprised I was actually grumpy about it. It was either that or sob uncontrollably for 2 hours.
