Before launch, if you heard that the Switch could play Witcher 3 and Doom Eternal, you might have imagined something a bit more powerful than what we actually got.

It’s not just the price increase, but the multiplication of services. Everything used to be under the Netflix banner, and then content providers started withdrawing their shows and starting their own streaming services.

They were able to do sharp ray tracing at 60fps in Ratchet & Clank, it seems like they have strong developers. I don't doubt they can do this.

Oh well. Even if you could carry anything over, they would have to somehow Metroid your abilities.

Honestly I like Robotech better than Macross. It's a shame there is IP spaghetti holding it back. But, maybe that's a good thing, looking at how other entertainment franchises have been exploited and run into the ground.

No SDF-1 = 👎

Did they succumb to pressure? I thought the developer seemed to have made the decision on their own.

Because not enough is being done with physics in games. A lot more can be done, but game designers aren’t really taking advantage of it.

I doubt Will meant it in a malicious way. If they got the award then he already knows he helped open some of those doors and he already has a lot to be proud of without an award to say it.

Why didn't she use a different type of controller?

It’s a case of picking a primary development platform, and treating others as second class.

Crappy PC ports and crappy console ports continue to be a thing I guess...

Reddit moderation has always been full of issues, from hyper specific rules for each subreddit, to mod groups that act like special clubs... it has never caught on with me.

It never hurts to tell them you're interested in the idea. If nobody speaks up they won't do anything.

I haven't subbed for online for over a year and I don't intend to start again. F2P games are all free to play online, and I don't need to build a bigger backlog.

Based on games by Sony Imagesoft I wondered how they could have been taken seriously, but luckily they gave people games like Wipeout, Warhawk, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer, and Tekken.

That video where the person was walking for 10 minutes looks barren anyway, I don't know why you would want to explore that.
