I felt like throwing enemies into the screen on the SNES version of Turtles in Time looks disappointing compared to the arcade, it’s like 2 frames of animation, but in the arcade it’s smooth scaling.

It’s weird that the events don’t happen naturally in-game as you progress. Instead they’re scheduled outside the game and happen whether you’re playing or not. This means people who play the game in the future or on their own schedule won’t experience them.

I’m not a fan of locking actions and content behind paywalls in games, but maybe people who play Animal Crossing don’t mind.
