On the other hand it’s a bit unfair to hold back fixes just because of speedrunning. But speedruns are often separated by version numbers when games have different versions anyway so this would just add one more. It's cool that they are even considering the community though.

I agree with you when it comes to bad imitators but when done right I am always down. Playing something with poor combat like FF7 really makes me feel unsatisfied. Was the soundtrack mastered in analog? It seems like DVD-Audio would be the way to go for digital soundtracks. I would like to see that format for collector items, or even better Blu Ray Audio.

I wish the RE games on PS4 supported motion aiming like PS3 and Wii. I hope this gets patched in to any game with aiming.

This game sounds more frustrating than the first. I found the first game to have too many instant deaths and now enemies can do that? At least there are difficulty levels, but that just sounds like a workaround instead of an enjoyable experience. Is there a demo?
