I loved this game back in the day. I played Castlevania a ton but couldn’t finish it as a kid. The idea that you could level up and get stronger attracted me, and the exploration and variety took the series to a whole new level. It blew me away. Compared to other games at the time it was doing a lot, and offered fun

I guess they don’t want to spend any money to partner with third parties for releases, which is fine with me but it’s still not getting me to turn on my Xbox, they haven’t been able to do anything since Mattrick left in 2013. It’s not all on Spencer, there are other people at MS, other people they could tap outside,

Sure but Phil wasn’t in that position for the 360 either. It wasn’t just Mattrick deciding what they had for the One was a good plan, a lot of people have to plan that out and give the go ahead. I don’t know what they were thinking and I got Fd over.

It sucks because last gen they were strong, launching earlier and cheaper and still competitive.

Snake sounds like he’s forcing it in the new one, anyway maybe it’s my nostalgia that makes me prefer the original

Yeah they shouldn’t have redone the cutscenes, but everything else was great. I was shit at the original MGS but I was able to play Twin Snakes.

Yes, first person aiming. I could never get the hang of shooting in the overhead perspective.

Opening “random item boxes” is as much fun as clicking through a hundred EULAs. I avoid any game that has this because it detracts from the experience. It’s time consuming and boring. It’s something I wish I could skip.

This is really the next level, you can pretty much make a full fledged game in this with some good presentation. I’m hoping they add SMB2 USA stuff... but I wish they made an actual sequel as well.

No problem there, I have a million of them from various PR things. They were giving these things out for phones and tablets and for a while you could find them quite easily for free in the wild.

I always wonder if stuff like that is a punishment for being uncouth. They even pick on our doujin culture.

In testing, General Mills found it was incredible the whole time you’re eating it, but when you’re done you’ll have a sore jaw and the biggest “meh” feeling of your life.

I guess no FDS Castlevania 2? Would have been nice to hear that alternate soundtrack as well. Yes some tracks are worse than the cartridge version but I'd still like it.

I would complain, I liked when they had the speech. It allowed my kid to follow along with the story when he didn’t want to watch the movie and finds this format more enjoyable. It’s a lot more interesting that way for me as well. Anyway I can’t keep up explaining everything that’s happening so he can follow what’s

The PS2 icons are my favorite. Now save game icons are either screenshots which can be useful or just the game’s icon.

I wonder if this game is saving so often it'll wear out your flash storage

Retrace your steps. Try looking in the last place you remember having it.

Lots of cannon fodder enemies and fun platforming is why, plus they did a good job making sure the player never gets overwhelmed.

I dunno who dude is but he look crazy on image search

Game news is getting too close to Hollywood tabloid bullshit.
