What was wrong with it? I found I could micromanage quite a bit and didn’t have to rely on the AI, although you can set character AI to different routines and even change that mid battle if you want. You can even set how they should pick enemies to target.

I thought without the white witch part the ending would have missed important character development and resolution...

It didn’t for me. The story is great all the way through and the fights are fair.

That first game was amazing, I like it even better than the sequel. The combat is more fun. The backgrounds look like they fit more with the animated style than the sequel that went for realistic looking backgrounds. I also prefer how characters look on the map in the first.

It doesn’t surprise me that it was easy. They want every fan favorite core gaming franchise represented in SSB, and Rare has a history with Nintendo as well.

I think it started longer than ten years ago... I guess as long as there have been online games and online DRM this has been an issue. Every time this comes up it’s still controversial.

You can’t plan to become popular and make it big. Unless lightning strikes and you’re the first one to blow up in your niche, it’s still a major grind, and you have to keep it going and put up with major hate. And you’re dealing with a warped perspective of the world too. Gift and a curse.
