I don't think steam publishes any stats on how the genres/controllers break down.

Preference is more of a factor than the ideal tool for the job, many people are better with M+K but just prefer using the controller for comfort and convenience. Anyway I guess you did specify “die hard” gamers so perhaps that segment would favor results over comfort.

According to steam's stats half of PC players use a controller

When will they get support for Twitch and YouTube

That’s what I loved about Bloodborne and wished every From game had: Chalice Dungeons. Endless situations to put your character in and hone your skills. I loved going into forums and looking at lists of codes for the most difficult dungeons to try. If you wanted a new experience you could get it whenever.

Me too. I miss all the people. I had gotten to know all of those personalities, now most of them are not even on podcasts anymore. 1up had enough podcasts to keep me busy for the entire week just by itself. And a video show too. Damn. And a show for each game platform. I miss that.

I kinda don’t care either way. I still get my game news from game news sites, I haven’t watched any of these presentations unless someone from a site I like is talking over it. I’ll just read a summary of the presentation with links when it’s over and check out what I want, and be part of the conversation in the

Yeah, people seem to think Google has servers in every major city to cut down on latency but I think they’re getting that mixed up with content cache/content delivery facilities.

Yeah but only the bad ones. They beg for attention when you’re not playing with them and don’t have very much to teach kids, and are not very inspired design-wise. They are for distracting kids, not helping them learn and focus. Horrible awful things.

Yeah, the top 3 streaming services all put together is equal to 6% of the PC game market revenue, of which PSNow is the most popular. They’ve been around for a while but retain minimal market share, just a single digit percentile of one platform. And PSNow is a fraction of that.

Jeff at Giantbomb made the example that maybe if you get a steam key every time you get a game on stadia it would be a more attractive offer, that’s another idea that could work.

I’ve been making a lot of the same points and I’m glad to see that they’re part of the discussion others are having, I’m curious to see what the model is, what position this puts developers in, how often they upgrade the cloud hardware to remain competitive, if there are premium offers like you get better hardware if

From the trailer I could see that the moves and frames all seemed to march up with the timing of SoR2, it looks like they’re doing it right. Personally I can’t wait. I do wish that Sega had gotten Streets of Rage Remake as an official title and released it commercially. I would love to have that available on

I have very cool plans if I make millions too.

The worst is when they have a customizer but limit certain things to gender in the game or something like that. I like that they didn’t do that here.

Sticking with my OG Switch. If they’re not bringing me games I don’t see a reason to upgrade. I’m already playing most of what’s released on my PS4 and Xbone or already played on my Wii U, so the idea of getting an enhanced system that still won’t match what I already have doesn’t appeal to me. If it upgrades the

Yep, I don’t. If push comes to shove I’m out. Then they can get my crickets.

Yeah I don’t use them because of that. It’s fine if others feel different (like Netflix and Spotify subscribers) but I won’t get in on this, I don’t want access to something I enjoy removed. Maybe those services are good for discovering content because you can sample a lot, but I buy what I enjoy so I can keep going

Which should bring down the game prices right?

One major concern is putting money into hardware that isn’t mine to do with as I want, including choosing when to upgrade and being able to sell or trade or keep old hardware. (Of course same for games.) I’m essentially helping pay for Google’s hardware that they can use for whatever they want during downtime and no
