Weird, because MS seems to be pushing the idea of cross platform gaming. It’s even bringing in cheating on PC in Sea of Thieves against Xbox players. Maybe people who don’t like this need to speak up because they’re just getting louder and louder about this idea, I keep seeing stories about it every couple weeks.

PC has all kinds of gamepads, novint falcon, mouse, keyboard, steam controller, trackball, trackpad, and other input methods, head tracking, aim assist, pretty much any crazy combination you can think of. Yeah, I’d say PC is a good example of how match making can sort players and even things out.

Matchmaking is what provides a level playing field, players of equal skill get matched up with different specs and different input all the time on PC, same with games like Fortnite that work with w/k or gamepad on PS4 or other similar scenarios

True but there are some big tablets out there and chromecast, as well as Android consoles like Shield

Maybe you just have fond memories of it. The graphics, music, and fan service were all great in 1 & 2, it’s the combat and endless spawning enemies that are always of the same 3 types

Not really, Fortnite has USB mouse/keyboard support and everyone still has fun. As long as there is a proper matchmaking engine for the server, matches are never lopsided.

Why even use an emulator? You can pair a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to any device, or a gamepad.

Didn’t say anything about one game per year, didn’t say different is bad, and didn’t make a stupid comment. Just said what they did in FFXV and KH is bad.

I’m not when it’s done right! That battle system was bad even for its time, it’s aged very poorly over the 15 years since it was introduced. It lacks the precision for both reflex and strategy, and has been done much better in many other games both before and since.

Just for the love of god retire the Kingdom Hearts/FFXV battle system

3DS still has game, it’s still my favorite system to bring with me, and I still love street pass.

It doesn’t really need ports, if an audience is there and willing to pay for content, developers will have incentive to produce unique games, or unique versions of games, for it.
