I’ve got the video blocked, but the audio keeps coming on anyway. It’s making me CRAZY!

Same here! I already had these settings in place, but I found spam events on my personal calendar. Reported as spam, but still frustrated because I don’t see anything in my spam folder and didn’t have any of these settings in play.

When I wanted to upgrade my card with my credit union, they had to raise my credit limit as well. I had to fill out a whole new application to approve the $2K credit limit raise and THEN they could give me the new card (and this is after THEY were the ones to send me a letter stating that I was eligible for the new

Paid off my credit card in June and have kept it paid off for the rest of this year! Next year is all about saving (and hopefully getting a new job with a higher salary to allow me to save more!).

Came here for the Diem love and was not disappointed. Every once in a while I come across this .gif in my folder and it makes happy and sad at the same time.

When we did this last year for the fires in Santa Rosa (because this is now a thing we just have to do in California), there were groups on Haight St in SF that were gathering clothes and such for evacuees and survivors. I haven’t seen anything pop up yet, but I’m sure something similar will be happening as soon as

We used to draw names when we would all gather at my grandparents’ house to celebrate (plus everyone would buy for all of us grandkids). We kept it up after my parents’ retired away from our hometown (sending names and gifts back and forth), but once my grandparents moved out to be near my parents and my mom’s sister,

Yeah, I’ve gotten 5-10 of these in the last few days - all of them pretending to be Wells Fargo. Never had an account with them, so it’s pretty easy to see it’s a scam. Also because the text’s send name is usually something like “reportinfowflock4882@justinguitar.com” (using the one that I got about 10 minutes ago),

My mom did this every year with me; it’s one of my earliest memories.

Oh yeah, I’ve had a parent change the baby on the tray table right next to me on a plane. Dad was in the aisle seat, mom in the middle and me in the window. Seatbelt sign was on, sure, but she just popped that tray table down and did it (business end facing me!) like it was no big deal (and the kid was kicking my

I once had a driver call me that he was at my building, so I told him to come on up. I live on the second floor of a building with just stairs (like a motel), so there’s no barrier to entry. He insisted that he couldn’t. I threw shoes on to go outside and sure enough, he was at the building next door, which does

Yeah, the Chase part of it doesn’t surprise me (it’s still gross), but Amar? C’mon man! DAMMIT!

I’ve tried moving applications that I don’t want (like Reminders) into another folder in the Applications folder and it just copies them. It will let me delete the copy, but not the original. Is there a way to MOVE the app into a folder, not copy it?

Every class I’ve been to, the workout is like riding a road with various “hills,” sprints, long climbs, and “rest periods.” Your legs keep moving the entire class, but the effort they are putting in is up to you based on the resistance you add to the bike. There will likely be some “out of the saddle” work with

This is really my mom’s hack, but she’s not here, so I’m claiming it as my own!

Now playing

This is one of my favorite West Wing clips, and it helped me in college and grad school, even as an adult.

“Nothing happens in contradiction to nature, just in contradiction to what we know of it.” - DOCTOR Dana Scully, The X-Files

My man, Matthew Morrison, has a bit part in this and I’ve been waiting for it to come out for ages. I really thought I missed it! Can’t wait to see where this falls on the scale of his terrible choices.

I like it for using on vacation. It’s a real-time triplog of everything/place I went that I can share with friends or just have. In six months when someone else goes to the same place, I can pull it up and see what great cafe I loved or hated to recommend. It’s just another form of journaling for me.
