Yup, I was coming here to post #3 - thanks fanfic for teaching me where my school system/church/parents failed!

And I wish men realized that many of us DO ask for/try to negotiate for more than what’s being offered only be shut down or otherwise penalized for seeming “aggressive” or “greedy,” which are not ladylike traits. After a while, you get conditioned not to ask for anything because it’s just easier. So sure, it’s our

I’ve advised my dad to that since he lives in Arizona and has an accent, despite being a citizen for nearly 50 years. And I’m still not sure it would help if push came to shove.

THANK YOU! This is exactly what I bumped on when I saw the header image. I mean, if she prefers that title, more power to her. I guess I would just prefer to see all Senators referred to by their job title, not their marital status.

When I lived in New Jersey (2008), they didn’t give out “I Voted” stickers during the primary and looked at me like I was crazy for asking for one. So I believe it and it makes me mad!

When that last snake fell into the cravass, I did a little fist pump in the office. That was AWESOME!

Just got my email from Comcast about this about an hour ago. According to them, I’ve only used an average of 68GB in the last three months, so I should be fine.

My parents did that for the family of one of the Virginia Tech shooting victims. Many of the churches in the Northern Virginia area worked together to make sure all the homes were covered during the various funerals.

Yeah, it seemed to me like she only mentioned “body shaming” because she was trying to make the point that all of this pregnancy speculation comes from people Zapruder filming her stomach anytime she goes outside and if it’s not perfectly flat, she’s either “pregnant” or “fat.” But it seemed to me that she was mostly

Impulse bought the Wilton cake decorating kit I’ve had my eye on. Listed at $62.11 ($38.11 Prime) and I got it for $28.79, so nearly half off list and a little discount off regular Amazon pricing.

Yeah, just reading that pitch made me shake my head. They got exactly what was pitched, regardless of how many did or did not read it and did or did not think someone else would notice how fucked up it was.

Seriously, it seems like an alien abduction or something, given ALL the stuff left behind. Ugh, people are the worst!

I graduated from high school in the late 90s in Fairfax County, and we had the last day of graduation (which was the day before the last day of school). I graduated on JUNE 22ND!

I saw the traveling 9/11 exhibit in Kansas City in 2007 and it just hadn’t been long enough for me to deal with that emotionally. The photos that showed where my friend’s father’s office used to be in the Pentagon (he was luckily held up after a meeting, so he survived) and the news reports that were already seared in

Especially since 2 of the customers are between the ages of 45-54! I’m not trying to be ageist, but I just assumed that trying BS like this stopped at about 26. I can’t imagine being 10-15 years older than I am now, looking at that, and thinking, “yes, please!”

I regret I have only but one star to give! If I ever get married (which looks less and less likely by the year), I figure most of my friends won’t be able to attend because they all have kids now, so traveling across the country just isn’t in their budget, regardless of how broke I was when they got married but still

Giants also have it. Though they did specify that it’s a regular-sized helmet and not a Bochy-sized one. Still good.

Yeah, fuck this noise! Oregon Trail generation here!

That’s not necessarily true. I bought my phone through Apple and bought it for half price by connecting to my Verizon account and agreeing to another two-year contract with them. Plus I got deferred financing with Apple’s credit card, so in six months, I’ll own my phone, but I didn’t pay $750 for it.

Mine did too! I’m now extra scared to see that total for the last 16 years!
