Ah, I just bought a TaoTronics soundbar for my TV earlier this week. Very happy with it so far. I had to return the first bar I bought last week because it was awful (sound was fine, controlling it was almost imossible; also no Bluetooth as advertised). (~$60 price range, it’s for a pretty small space).

You should really read Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States. I’m not just name dropping, if you really are asking that question honestly, this is the book that will answer it. Be forewarned though, it’s not exactly a pick-me-up.
