Hmmm...do you have a mole in the shape of Italy on your left ass cheek?

I think you’re right in that the lack of complexity makes that freshness/newness less impactful long term. I’m certainly more likely to play an old school platformer more than I would to go back and play Classic WoW.
Not just the psychological parts but also the newness. I cam remember playing The Legend of Zelda for the first time and being blown away with the concept. It was so new and refreshing and while other games have recreated that format, it was never “new” again.
While I agree with your broader point, wouldn’t a compelling argument around the Pelicans being bad at this justify them not sell Davis for $0.60 on the dollar?
He has the most individual championships, breaking a tie with Charles Haley.
Yes, I was referring specifically to this year as they had struggled at different points earlier in the year.
Why would he be surprised the Democratic Primary would be pissed? He’s literally saying “Nah, I can’t win that and become the Democratic nominee, so I’ll just do what I want and run outside of that support”
That’s sort of my point. What’s more likely;
Sure but LeBron went to the Lakers because they’re the Lakers and Davis wants to go to the Lakers because they’re the Lakers. Good players are always going to want to go play in LA, seems short sighted to bet the farm to team LeBron and Davis up for 2 seasons while Golden State is still out there, rounding into form.
Wait...so Davis has indicated internally that he will play out next season on any team he’s traded to, but will then sign with the Lakers in free agency summer of 2020? Why exactly are the Lakers packaging all of their assets then?
Understood, and I’m completely aware of that and it is a problem. But the main difference is when we talk a union or the government, people have a means of doing something about those problems.
Ah, wasn’t aware of the history. Still, his comment wasn’t even relevant to mine.
Uh...all of it? I feel like your response is completely missing my point. Allow me to clarify.
“For the men who needed to believe themselves white, the bodies were the key to a social club, and the right to break the bodies was the mark of civilization. ‘The two great divisions of society are not the rich and poor, but white and black,’ said the great South Carolina senator John C. Calhoun. “And all the former,…
My comment was a bit tongue in cheek. I do get that it is the American way and certainly something I was told from a very early age (Don’t trust the government! X wealthy scion was a great bastion of American prosperity!)
I’ll never understand the American workers willingness to trust in the humanity of one rich asshole over the efforts of a union or even elected officials in government.
Your comment gets at the heart of the true issue here though, specifically people are bad with money. Do you expect someone getting an extra couple hundred bucks a month to actually save it in a way that accrues interest?
I always thought that it would be baseball first, as they adopted advanced metrics first, but it seems basketball has become the first game that’s fully decided to just become a math problem.
The world’s worst businessman no less
What is it with these asshole businessmen that makes them think they’re qualified to run a country?
