Or it's just saying "I don't get it" and genuinely trying to see if maybe there's something they're missing.  I've said "I don't get it" about a lot of things and I never felt like the people who liked it were morons. 

You know what's funny about that?  I was at the taping and during my show he actually was wearing a black t-shirt.

That's what he did at our show, too (and I was at the taping).  Funny, he actually wasn't wearing the same shirt during our show, so none of the footage from my show actually made the special.  Heh.

Indeed.  I like it, but it's nowhere near as good as his earlier stuff.  Honestly, though, after "Hilarious," ANYTHING would have been funnier to me.

I liked "Live at the Beacon" but it was nowhere "Chewed Up" or "Shameless."  "Hilarious" was his weakest, in my opinion, and the only Louis special I would have to almost classify as bad.  There were only two jokes I laughed at during the entire thing.  Granted, those two jokes were hysterical (I think I missed half…

It's definitely a good introduction, but "Chewed Up" and "Shameless" remain his best specials (IMHO). 

I was at the taping of the show and I have to say that I HATED that it was in the round.  More than half the time we were staring at his back.  There were punchlines that I really felt I wasn't getting the full experience of because I couldn't see his facial expression.  Sometimes I could see half of it, if his side…
