@@SteelSky:disqus- I disagree.  Just because killing Gale was essential to their (or at least Walt's) survival doesn't make it ok.  That's like getting in a shootout with the cops and grabbing an innocent person as a shield.  Or even one of your criminal cohorts as a shield (since Gale obviously chose to manufacture

Season one was an anomaly.  Besides, if I remember correctly, the first two episodes of season two were actually supposed to be the end of season one, which would have made it longer.  The writer's strike fucked that all up.

I still think Schillinger is the best villain in the history of television (as least as far as I've seen).  And yes, Gus is definitely on the list, too.
