And for what it's worth, Brick and Mike are a lot alike. Brick's oblivious anti-socialness is Heck-Man Concentrated (see Grampa Big Mike, Uncle Rusty). Mike's role here is to try and dilute that in Brick as he is the most functional member of his side of the family
