3D Anime look like Guity Gear/Dragonball Fighterz to be honest. Making it look like FF7 remakes is a major mistake. Would they get Akria T to do more art? Throw money at the guy and fans will come along with new ones. More time travel elements like making a change X will effect Y etc. 

Visually, I think going the Dragon Quest 11 route would be the way to go. But I’d welcome 2.5D, more detailed pixel art, even a Persona 3 cell-shade look would be nice. The only thing I’d be against is trying to go for an FF7 Remake realism.

I’d love if the sprites looked like Toriyama hand drew every frame.
