The thing with used cars is you only need ONE buyer. There is probably one guy out there (and it is almost always a guy) who wanted one new and couldn’t have one (too young, too poor, too many kids, whatever) who can afford to drop $30K on this today, and will. The Internet makes it very easy to find that guy.

A good friend of mine had one in high school. Terrible car. She nicknamed it the tempo of doom. It broke down constantly. But, worked often enough to be involved in any number of poor teenage decisions.

That would be hilarious and since it’s a Tempo, zero fucks would be given so there are no downsides to this idea. At best it’s a hilarious car that induces a lot of laughs and at worst, you can send it to the scrapper or junk it and get some (or all) of your money back.
