My Accord story is actually my sister’s Accord story. In short: she used to live in the Mission in SF and park her ‘81 Accord on the street. It was broken into on a regular basis, but the biggest break-in was a junkie OD-ing and croaking in the back seat.

Country. The car references in rap songs are just flaunting money - the car is just an object. Blah. Those are often poorly-rhymed, too. In country songs, the vehicle is part of a tale. It was an imprint on the singer’s memory. Little Red Rodeo; Daddy Let Me Drive; Red Ragtop... Take the car out, the song changes.
