I was talking to a buddy of mine yesturday and me and him were ranking out fav souls game’s my personal is.

Fans: We can do it!

“when members are focused on finishing a series, they watch a little over two hours a day to complete a season.” (This conflicts directly with my personal binge-watching, which is best done all day, in bed, over an entire weekend.)

To be fair, he never calls it 1:1 himself in the video, that’s Luke’s hyperbole.

Don't worry, Patrick. I sometimes star myself in Kinja.

And no creative industry is going to survive and grow if it doesn’t keep its talent.

I agree with you, but his point is completely nullified by the fact that when you work your effing balls off and end up with an empty bank account and no social life... it's just not worth it.

‘this is a creative industry, not a salary job’.
This sounds a lot like Alex St. John’s mentality and his recent controversial article about game developers. It is ok if you are the creator and willing to sacrifice everything, but you can’t force your employees to do the same as some of them probably just wanted to

Animators aren’t lazy. They’re usually overworked and underpaid. But he expects even more work than that, which borders on ludicrous.

So the younger generation actually wants to have a life beyond the slave shops that make anime we constantly hear about. Well good for them he might have been good at this job but his work ethic made slaves not happy workers.

It’s a shame that the young generation no longer willing to put in the amount of work he (or rather the industry) required, but in addition of the horrendous living condition typical of the current anime industry I don’t think it should come as a surprise.

Yeah. It’s like Hollywood is making the anime/manga it shouldn’t into movies and Japan is doing the same. If their set on doing this kinda thing, they need to trade production schedules!

My nephew tried this, but apparently a hero who controls butts is not within the scope of their “artistic design”.

Now put her in the game.

If you’re staggered, you can’t attack—it interrupts your animation. Poise means you aren’t staggered, which means you can attack even though someone has hit you.

100% this. It’s bad communication on From Software’s part, and they should be called out for it. Same with the mysterious bannings on PC.

“It’s more situational...”

Then maybe letting people know how these situation works would keep them from complaining. The way they’re speaking it seems like it IS a useless stat and they just don’t want to acknowledge. I understand they’re known for being cryptic, but there has to be a point where letting people know

I get that it’s impossible to please everyone. But sometimes it’s just Blizz being stubborn or fixated on some particular design decision.

Oh, they listen, they just say no.

You and half these commenters do not know one single thing about what you’re talking about.
