Thats even more depressing to think about. The fact that they might have made a dumbed down anime for this generation. :P
Anyways, no I dont believe that is the case.
Gundam 00 was made 5 years after Gundam Seed came out and its one of the better gundam stories out there. The same could be said of Gundam Wing too.

Fair enough and yes it seems to have worked. Thank you very much :)

Kotaku:

BTW .... why is it now that everytime I reply to an article Im in "pending"?
Dont think I've ever gone on a full hate-rant here and my account is verified....

*that moment when you catch yourself saying things about gaming hardware that you say about attractive women*

Seriously, this is sexy.

See but that's the thing, you were never ever suppose to take G-Gundam seriously! LOL
Its like the sharknado of the gundam series. So ridiculous and over the top that its actually great! haha
Gundam Seed is just straight up bad. Its the tiptoes of the gundam series.

I have never seen the live action...... guess I know

Its not one of the worst, its THE worst! XD
Having watched quite a bit of Gundam myself (OG, 08th, G-Gundam, Gundam Wing, Gundam 00, Gundam Unicorn) I couldnt even finish Gundam Seed it was that bad.
Oddly enough, its HUGE in Japan.
Kind of depressing actually.

Being a HUGE Gintama-fan (duh) the fact that they say it's the anime that got them into anime surprised me. To me, Gintama has always been the anime for people who love anime. So many references to other anime and manga that would fly past your head if you didnt watch those shows before-hand.

Id say I started anime

Pretty much. Had this conversation with 2 friends in the past two weeks about what they dont like about Kotaku.
1. They claim they trade reviews for money/other benefits which just isnt true. (they say the same thing about IGN btw)
2. They call it tabloid gaming journalism. For every opinion peace there's 5 other

watching most of these no blue spring, no free and no black butler.

Guessing all of yall sold them out cause everytime I click "Checkout" it suddenly vanishes and says "One or more items have been deleted or modified based on the availability."

I wear stuff like this most of the time ......
Shirt + overshirt (depending) + Jeans + sneakers
Its comfortable.

Top pick so salty

Hmmm.... yeah thats a pretty good point. I guess you could say that Planetscape and The Witcher protagonists are "unlikely heroes" rather than "destined heroes". If we're talking along those lines than Terra in FF6 would be "destined" and Vaan would be "unlikely". I was talking more along a game-play standpoint and

If you read my comment you would realize I already agree with you (a la ffVi and ffXII) but i think we're talking about two totally different things. In The Witcher you're the savior of your own story without any outside help. You're bad-ass. You're singular.

No sound?

Its not so much Biowares problem as it is a human problem.

You're not really going to want to play some bloke whos equal to other blokes for the heck of it.
Its our inner desire to be important and special that makes us flock to games where we are the savior or the prince/princess that saves the world or saves our

Its the fact that they had the original Dragon Age Origins before it and instead of taking what was good about it and improving.... they tried to reinvent the wheel with a half-ass story to boot.

As an RPG that exists outside of the dragon age realm? Its "good". Inside it?
Do better. We know you're better than this.

I could see him fit into a game like FFXIV pretty easily.

did they fix the raping problem?
