Did they see our last election?

My only concern is that the song I learned in fifth grade called “Fifty Nifty United States” won’t help me remember all of the states anymore.

This isn’t coal for power generation. It supplies the steel industry with coke to make steel.

The people opposed to Puerto Rico becoming a state (what are they called because that’s real wordy) are trying to claim the lack of turnout should suggest people don’t want to go through with it and I think that’s just adorable and really stupid.

Trump conveniently neglected to mention this mine is for metallurgic coal for making steel, not for electricity.

The Trump administration has set a record for productivity, from inauguration to Special Proscecutor in only 118 days.

I pointed out in another thread, it has nothing to do with any sensible energy policy. Even if all environmental regulations were removed, natural gas, thanks to fracking, which Republicans all support, will continue to supplant coal.

President Obama was in favor of energy sources like the wind and the sun. Therefore, Cheetolini must be against them, and what better way to be against renewable energy than coal? Natural gas isn’t the reason that a week’s visit to London turned my snot black. that was centuries of coal making itself known in the new

Why is Trump so obsessed with coal? Is it some sort of fetish? It’s a marginal portion of the US economy, not economically viable with renewables and natural gas, and barely anyone works in that field!

I dunno that clap back by Schiff gave me a slight smile. It’s grim, clenched teeth and a wry twist if the lips, but it qualified as a smile. The GOP is becoming increasingly aware that we’re not going away, I think. Things haven’t died down to business as usual, the pace is increasing and the pressure is mounting.

Meanwhile in the ongoing clusterfuck cascade that is the UK...

Pay to whom, exactly?

Ha. I already have a bet with a friend he won’t last to a second term. This is a great bet because there’s so many ways to pay off. Impeachment, resignation, cabinet removes him, coke fueled heart attack, hell Melania could even get fed up with him and murder him. Doesn’t matter, they all pay off.

And now Trump is considering firing the Special Counsel, which he actually can do, albeit awkwardly. House Intel Ranking Member Adam Schiff fired back, with far more confidence in his spineless GOP colleagues than seems warranted by any of their past shrugging.

The suit is taking aim at Trump’s business entanglements—here’s an extremely overwhelming list of his conflicts of interest

what do you think you’d get in Montana for body-slamming a congress person?

“Congressman-elect Greg Gianforte was sentenced to 40 hours of community service, 20 hours of anger management and a $385 fine after pleading guilty to assaulting a journalist.”

“D.C. Attorney General Karl A. Racine and Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh are suing the president, alleging “unprecedented constitutional violations.” The suit is taking aim at Trump’s business entanglements—here’s an extremely overwhelming list of his conflicts of interest—from which he has refused to

Both of these AG’s are elected, so my guess is they are fire-proof.

I don’t think you were going to get a good deal from the EU regardless. Now it’s just a question of how big of a barrel you get bent over, and who ends up being the scapegoat. Cameron knew what was up.
