30 Rock lines I use in real life far more often than I should. No one laughs. I really should stop.

Criss Cross!

You missed everything. So many weeks/fortnights (basically, when they got around to it) reliving the glory (mostly) that was S1 30 Rock. I feel sorry for you.
I'm gonna make you a mix tape. You like Phil Collins?

But it doesn't make him mysterious. I'm not disagreeing that he has a hurdle to climb given his lack of awareness in the US. But he's been hiding in plain sight.

James Corden isn't mysterious - you're creating a hint of intrigue and allure where there isn't any. He's extremely well known in the UK and his work is not hard to find. In reality he's an okay actor, a hit-and-miss creator of some halfway decent stuff and an extremely average chat show guest who somewhat

I really like Season 2 Seinfeld. The Jacket is one of my favourites of the whole series. And The Deal and The Pony Remark are classics. Yes, it's not fully realised but I don't think it's fully skippable either.

I admire your commitment. Green Wing series one was awesome. But the second series was not. Join me again next week on Let's make no fucking sense when I'll be waxing an owl.

I wasn't before but I am now!

Green Wing. The first series was complete madness and delightful with the best cliff-hanger ending ever. They couldn't keep up the momentum in the second series and it was a chore to get through, with a terrible ending and a special episode that tried to undo the damage but by then the shtick had worn thin. A shame

The onscreen narration on this show is great. "The brother who he friggin' hates."

I enjoyed The Social Network and was looking forward to Sorkin being involved with other films.

The West Wing wasn't terrible. It wasn't an actual presidential office. It was television. And many, many episodes (not all, but a high proportion) were great television. If television had to be accurate, we'd all be the worse off in terms of entertainment.

It already varied significantly while he was there. Season 3 was incredibly dull and preachy.

That last scene was just superb. Amazing casting and a great setup. I really enjoyed this episode.

I watched Gross Pointe Blank too again after that interview. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd forgotten how good the soundtrack was, the brilliance of the fight scenes (which aren't normally my kind of thing). and those two really did have great chemistry. Hope your wife is feeling better soon.

I quite enjoyed The One I Love. It's always great to see Elisabeth Moss on screen and the premise was gripping enough (coming to it fresh). But I can't say I'd bother watching it again. It lost a little in the neatly wrapping up of the concept and while there might have been deep metaphors in there, the way it was

Very excited for this. Paulie G is horrifically compelling as a comedic character and I think Seth Rogan will tap into that revulsion beautifully. And Kudrow does such a good job as Valerie.

To be fair, if I lived in Tauranga I'd probably turn to crime too just to stave off the boredom.

Not in my neck of the woods, it isn't. But I'll agree with you about the deliciousness.

Your cynicism is probably justified but I'd still rather watch and enjoy one good season even if it all turns to custard later. This is a fun show.
