Blowing a 3-1 lead to LeBron will always be my favorite memory of the 2010s Warriors.

On the plus side, they could just draft two dudes named Durant and Thompson and most of those fans would simply wonder why they weren’t awesome.
Absolutely. This Raptors team was excellently constructed. There’s the mega-star. Next level stars like Lowry and Siakam (the latter of whom is probably on his way to becoming superstar)...and then a handful of dudes who are all very good players with multiple specific skills. Ibaka, Gasol, Danny Green, and VanVleet…
C’mon. Asking Golden State fans to remember anything back more than 18 mos. ago is completely unfair. Besides, you made up like half of those supposed Cleveland Cavs.
That’s one way to look at it. Another is they have just found yet another new way to be disruptors. Pretty soon, we’ll see all NBA teams trying to break the two best NBA unrestricted free agents at the very end of the season.
This is so inspirational.
This is the correct take. The Warriors looked to be running out of steam in previous rounds. Their core players essentially added a sixth season’s worth of games in the process of their last five playoff runs. The Clippers and a completely dysfunctional Rockets team both took them to six games. There are no asterisks.…
and Shaq and Kobe.
I thought y’all said “Grade 6.” Despite your screen-name and professed fandom, I’m gonna need to see some papers.
Also surprising they had to tell Klay in the hallway, “hey if you don’t shoot these free throws, you’re out for the game.” A rule that apparently JVG knew immediately. And you think would be known by at least every coach on an NBA bench.
I had shit-talked Kyle Lowry and the Raps’ chances after what I thought was a bad game 5 from him in the middle of what I thought was a middling (at best) series for him. I was wrong. And glad I was. Great job Kyle. Congrats Toronto and all its fans.
You are an excellent example of a Warriors fan. Bless your heart.
Ben Shapiro is the Harvard grad who proves republicans really want intellectual bona fides and all the respect bestowed upon those with any affiliation with certain institutions without having a shred of intellectual integrity or, you know, intellect.
“The place has really gone to shit since Bob McNair died.”

Boogie Cousins, on Line 3.
Everything had to go the Astros way and they still only won in 7, which included winning both of the two craziest baseball games I’ve ever seen (Games 2 and 5). Amazing WS.
All I can say is that Bob Myers’s press statement which began with him tearfully sorta explaining what happened by using words and phrases like “there were experts,” “multiple MRIs,” “multiple doctors,” and “cleared to play” by “collaborative decision” sounded an awful lot like a random corporate executive explaining…
I’m a Rockets fan and I’ve been a big Kyle Lowry fan since he started to show his stuff as Aaron Brooks’ backup. I cheer for the guy. I want to see him win. I want to see him win this championship. I just have no faith that it can happen.
If the Raptors go on to win this series then we’ll all look back and ask ourselves how the hell they won with Kyle Lowry at PG. If they don’t, then Kyle will be the first thing anyone thinks of (well, second, after KD blowing out his Achilles). It’ll be akin to the 2017 Astros winning the World Series without a closer…
