Right? Those were the comic books that I drew a lot of my costuming inspiration from (particular for Starfire, who I still need to do a proper photo-shoot for). I never imagined the character as their TV show ages for these costumes, always as late teens/early twenties.

I prefer photos where the cosplayer is looking away from the camera because they feel more candid to me, and more... real? Looking directly into the lens breaks the fourth wall, imo, and I *prefer* photos that read like a screenshot from a movie rather than an awkward formal portrait. (Also, just for me, looking…
It was super windy in the alley we shot in, so the cape billow is from that and skillful cape tossing by a friend. As for the hovering, I was standing on a small step-stool that was photoshopped out.
